Muscle wasting occurs with aging and in a wide range of catabolic diseases.With a view to establish a novel therapeutic modality towards muscle wasting syndrome,we used CRISPR/Cas9 to directly target Mstn in vivo in skeletal muscle cells to prevent loss of muscle mass.
