　　Chloroplast chaperonin is cylinderical tetradecamer composed of two types of subunits.Here we explored the composition and function of chloroplast chaperonin in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii both in vitro and in vivo.The formation of Cpn60β homo-oligomers was disturbed by Cpn60α subunits upon co-expression in E.coli and reconstitution from protomers in vitro.
