Alzheimers disease (AD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative major neurocognitive disorders, affecting significant number of elderly individuals worldwide.Despite decades of research, the pathophysiology of the disorder is not precisely known.Recent research has implicated cerebrovascuLar abnormality as an etiological factor; moreover, such aberrancy could lead to miscommunication between neurons by compromising structural and physiological aspects of neuronal homeostasis.
