Sclerotinia rot (SR),caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum,is a serious threat to oilseed Brassica production in Asia,Europe,North America and Australia and to vegetable crucifer production worldwide.Management of SR relies heavily upon cultural and/or chemical options that often provide only partial and/or sporadic control and can be cost prohibitive.Sources of resistance for developing resistant cultivars to better manage SR are needed.
