The feasibility of using Bombyx mori as model animal is attracting more attention.Whether the effect of drugs on the metabolite profiling was consistent with those in mammals was an aspect to evaluate the feasibility of Bombyx as model animal.In this study, we used APAP to treat Dazao 5th instar Bombyx, detected the metabolites in haemolymphe of Bombyx using GS/MS, processed the data by R software, then analyzed data by total model analysis, principle component analysis, particial least squares-discriminant analysis, orthogonal particial least squares-discriminant analysis, finally select the difference metabolites between APAP group and control group and identified them by our reference material database and NIST database.
