Preparation of anisotropy K2BiNb5O15 ceramics with acicular seeds by the screen-printing technique

The focus of this paper is to explore a new application of screen-printing to fabricate textured ceramics with the acicular seeds.Acicular K2BiNb5O15 (KBIN) single crystals with aspect ratios of 10:1were synthesized by the reaction of K2CO3,Bi2O3 and Nb2O5 in molten KCl at 1100℃ for 2 h.
