  The transfer of reverse micelles(RMs)from organic media into water phase without change the special property of the confined water pools is an important task that has never been touched before.The successful transfer would greatly expand the application scope of RMs from chemistry to materials and especially to biomedical science.We present herein the first successful transfer of RMs from organic media into the aqueous phase without changing the confined aqueous interiors by hydrolysis/aminolysis of arm-cleavable covalent captured reverse micelles formed from diester surfactant 1.
