The precise identification of cable force is great significant to further assess whole bridge inner force status.While,for large span cable stayed bridges,large amplitude vibration of cables induced by wind and rain excitation is harm to the safety of structure.To suppress the excessive vibration on cables,attached damper becomes a necessary part for large span cable stayed bridges.Under this circumstance,cable tension gained by frequency method becomes inaccurate.
