Ecological and environmental problems caused by quick urbanization have become increasingly prominent recently in China.Ecosystem services of urban green space are paid more attention,such as cooling and humidifying air,fixing carbon and releasing oxygen,reducing dust and noise,absorbing harmful gases.The cooling and humidification effect of urban green areas was quantitatively evaluated in this paper.Baiyun district of Guangzhou was selected as the research area and source data were three Landsat TM images.
