传统的真菌分类鉴定主要是依照真菌的形态、生长以及生理生化等特征对真菌进行研究。然而真菌的种类繁多，个体多态性不明显，而且其生长、生理生化特征也会随着环境的变化而不稳定。因此，采用传统的方法对真菌进行正确的分类存在较大的困难。
