A new way was developed to fabricate tips for tip-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS).First,electrochemical etched gold tips were prepared according to the reference [2].Then,a silver layer was coated on it by electrochemical deposition.The tip enhancement was measured directly on a STM-based TERS setup.The results indicate that the enhancement of silver coated tip was increased by about two times in comparison to the bare gold tip.
