The study was carried out to qualitative analysis of aliphatic compounds in PM10 and residue close burning of different kind of wood (pine, oak, rubber and palm oil).The sampling locations had been chosen from diverse backgrounds for instance urban background (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia UKM, Bangi, Health Center of Simpang Empat SE, Penang and development area Bandar Baru Nilai,BBN, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
