Objective:To investigate the effect of vertebroplasty combination with radiofirequency nucleoplasty for treating compression fracture of vertabral body combine with lumbar disc herniation.Methods:Among of 13 cases,male 5,female 8.age from 54.5 to 78 years old and average age was 64.5.Injury time:3 ~ 12 days.Diseased region of vertabral body compression fracture:2 cases at Tll,6 cases at T12,4 cases at L1,1 case at L2.Location of lumbar disc herniation:2 cases at L3~4,7 cases at L4~ 5,2 cases at L5 ~ S1,2 cases at L4~ 5 and L5 ~ S 1 simultaneously.In which of these cases,the clinic symptom was pain and tenderness at the diseased region and lumbosacral area,and accompany with difference degree dysfunction of spine movement,8 cases had lower limb radiated pain,but no symptoms and physical signs of spinal medulla and nerve root injured.Firstly,the suffering vertebral bodies treated by balloon kyphoplasty which had expanded vertebral bodies and reconstructed the vertebral body with PMMA cement by pedicle percutaneous puncture technic.
