Terpenoids are most abundant natural products,like lycopene,β-carotene,astaxanthin,artemisinin,taxol are belong to this big family.Recently,the mature of Metabolic Engineering and emergence of synthethic biology have achieved many breakthroughs in terpenoids microbial overproduction,and brought revolutionary changes in the traditional industry.
