Complexes [MnBr(CO)3(IP)] incorporating 2-(phenylimino)pyridine(IP,see below) derivatives have been demonstrated as a new group of catalysts for CO2 reduction,representing the first example of utilization of the half-aromatic IP ligands on manganese centers for this purpose.
