　　Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) not only show good affinity of their template molecules, but also recognize those molecules with the similar structures to templates.Therefore, it is feasible to employ structurally analogues or the common substructures as pseudo-template for the synthesis of MIPs.MIP monolithic column supplies not only the higher flowing rate and low backpressure, but also the good recognition specificity resulted from the integrity of imprinting cavities.However, the choice of appropriate porogenic agents is very crucial for preparation of MIP monolithic column, especially as for employing the common substructure as pseudo-template.The porogen should bring enough space inside the MIP monolithic column for target molecules to access to the MIP cavities without obvious deterioration of the capacity of recognition target molecules.
