  Heavy metal pollution in benthic filter-feeding bivalves has been received more and more attention.With regard to the studies in this field,the two-compartment kinetic model is a new developed mathematic model.In the present study,accumulation and elimination of three heavy metals (Cu,Pb and Cd) in Chinese oysters,O.plicatula Gmelin,were investigated in a semi-static system.
