The Chihu copper-molybdenum mine and Tuwu-Yandong porphyry copper deposit are the same metallogenic belt. Constructed in the Late Proterozoic extension structure of Jarotaga - the northern part of the magmatic belt (Chen et al., 2003), which is located in the assemblage of Kazakhstan-Junggar plate and Tarim plate.
