Rivers are always very important for human beings because of their various functions,and normal river functions are the assessment object and maintenance target of river health.Unfortunately,river functions have been limited partly by human activities.To monitor the change of river health,a large number of assessment methods including many biological and physicochemical indicators have been developed in the past few decades.
