Thyroid disease is one of the most common endocrine disorders for women of reproductive age.Although it is well accepted that infertile women with overt hypothyroidism should be treated with an adequate dose of levothyroxine, especially before initiating infertility treatment, the appropriate level of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH) before in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment is yet unclear.No literature has been found so far to compare the outcomes of IVF/ICSI for patients with treated hypothyroid,untreated subclinical hypothyroid and euthyroid.
