In the preliminary design phase of the bridge,there are many uncertainties and unforeseen factors,such as site condition,design,construction technology,operating environment,the actual vehicle load and other aspects.Combined with the natural conditions of the site,project plan,functional requirements and the views of the Ministry of Transportation and regulations,the framework of risk assessment for bridges in ecological zones is proposed in this paper.Major risk factors,which are environmental risk,design risk,construction risk and operational management risk,are studies in the paper,which includes multi-level dynamic risk identification,quantification,analysis and evaluation,risk control.Safety risk assessment of Huanglong bridge,as an example,is studies in this frame of risk assessment in the preliminary design stage,which is useful for the relevant decision-making departments.
