Objectives The aim was to analyze the challenges and adherence of enteral formulas to the FSMP regulation in Taiwan.Methods We calculated the nutritional contents of all registered complete-enteral-formulas in Taiwan from the products' labels,compared the nutritional contents with DRIs7th.Results There were 161 registered-FSMP enteral formulas in Taiwan,and 9 formulas contained all the nutrients recommended by DRIs7th.The formulas with complete DRIs7th nutrients had positive correlation between manufacturing companies,manufacturing location and registered year.There were 23 nutrients suggested by Taiwan's DRIs7th but only 8(34.8%)had standard analyzing procedure accredited by TFDA,but 88%of the nutrients had standard analyzing procedure in China.More than 90%of the bidding specifications matched the characteristics of the candidates.
