　　Many main-group β-diketiminate complexes with novel structural features are still the highlight for p-block chemistry.Our recent development is the synthesis of a new gemanium(I) radical 1[1] [PhC·(PhCNDip)2Ge:; Dip = 2,6-iPr2C6H3] through the reduction of β-diketiminato germylene chloride 2 [PhC(PhCNDip)2GeCl] by sodium naphthalene.
