Spinosad produced by Saccharopolyspora spinosa is now widely used as a field pest control agent due to its highly efficiency and excellent environmental and mammalian toxicological profile.However,the yield of spinosad is very low,which is limited its application severely Therefore,it is of great importance to enhance the spinosad yield.A stable mutated strain pR2 was obtained from the proloplast regeneration of S.spinosa sp060801 (CCTCC:M208034).The protoplast of PR2 was Ireated by different dosages of 60Co-γ irradiation.
