　　Secreted Wnt proteins play essential roles in many biological processes including growth, patterning, tissue and energy homeostasis, and maintenance of somatic stem cells.Deregulation of the Wnt pathway contributes to human diseases such as cancers.During development, Wnt acts as a morphogen and activates the expression of its target genes in a concentration-dependent manner.
