The continuous monitoring of structural dynamic responses under operative loads and the research of physical parameters that express, in exhaustive way, the structural health status, are the objectives of this paper.Vibrations based SHM systems offer unique technological solutions to solve problems relating to the safe and efficient design, by means of smart systems able to constantly interact with the structure and evaluate its health status.Such.typologies of systems take into account the influences of environmental conditions on the structure behaviour while it is subjected to real load and boundary conditions.
