The liquid PbLi blanket is one of the most promising blanket concepts for fusion reactors and has been under extensive research in the world.One of key issues in the liquid PbLi blanket is corrosion of candidate structural materials by the liquid PbLi with the strong magnetic field environment.In China,series of fusion-driven system designs and their PbLi blankets have been designed.China Low Activation Martensitic(CLAM)steel,as one kind of Reduced Activation Ferritic/Martensitic steels(RAFMs),has been chosen as the primary candidate structural material for these PbLi blankets.
