Applications in optical and magnetic dewices have renewed the interest for the rationalization of spectroscopic and magnetic properties of lanthanide complexes and solids.In this sense,lanthanide systems find applications in diverse fields,such as LEDs,single molecule magnets,imaging agents and magnetocaloric devices[1-3].
