　　Emergency capability is the key to control the development of gas pipeline, reduce the social loss, and protect the safety of city.Firstly, city gas pipeline emergency capability evaluation index system is set up.The weight of the evaluation index would be analyzed by analytic hierarchy process, and then the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation index could be calculated through the establishment of a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation matrix.At last, the estimation scale of emergency capability of gas pipeline could be obtained.
