To present the uniqueness of artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) implantation in China and the experience of this procedure as a part of urinary tract reconstruction (UTR) for patients with complex and refractory urinary incontinence (UI).We retrospectively reviewed our institution data between April 2002 and December 2014 and selected 30UI patients (median age, 40.2 years) who had undergone AUS placementduringUTR.Continence outcome was evaluated based on pad count, impact of UI on the quality of life, complications, and additional procedures.
