Pholidota cantonensis Rolfe is a medicinal plant with a long history of safe use for treating sore throat, tonsillitis, cough phlegm asthma, pneumonia, acute soft-tissue trauma and arthritis in China.Two new diterpene (clerodane, 1) and (labdane, 2) glycosides together with 10 known constituents (3-10) were isolated from the whole plant of Pholidota cantonensis.The structures of the isolated compounds were determined by spectroscopic and/or chemical methods.
