  Mechanism and kinetic model of enzymatic hydrolysis of protein about the protein of silkworm pupae (PSP)-Alcalase System was studied.An exponential equation was also established based on M-M equation.This proposed equation predicted hydrolysis degree of both reactors very accurately showing deviations lower than 5% between the experimental and theoretical data.In accordance with the proposed kinetic model,kinetic parameters were determined as Km =3.58 g·L-1,△Ea =66635 J·g-1,△Ed =77356 J-g-1.When substrate inhibition was the primary influence,kinetic parameters were determined as Ks =29.94 g-L-1,kd =61.83 min-l,k2 =211.57 min-1.When product inhibition was primary influence,kinetic parameters were determined as P/Kp =0.00250,kd =9.52 min-1,k2 =83 min-1.It proved that the substrate and product inhibition existed in hydrolysis process for the first time.
