  The basic processes of chroming base plate are included these operations,smelting,hot rolling,cold rolling,degrease,continuous annealing,double cold reduction.But the destination thickness and character for the chroming base plate are mainly depend on the process of double cold reduction.Originally,the DCR line,influenced by the front-back processes and diameter of the roller,the minimum thickness of rolled strip can only reached 0.15 mm.Nowadays,we should put more emphasis on studying the ultimate paper thin chroming base plate below 0.15 mm to meet the customers demands.The global annual output has reached more than 8 million tons.Nowadays,we should put more emphasis on studying the ultimate paper thin chroming base plate below 0.15 mm to meet the customers demands.In theories,the thickness can reached below 0.15 mm,while the maximum reduction rate is done.In practical,for the paper thin and hard DR base plate,it is difficult to maintain the ideal level,for it is subjected to the largerest reduction rate.The chroming base plate must through cold rolling and double cold reduction from hot rolling raw material to product.The reduction rate allocation between cold rolling and double cold reduction is critical important.A new technology was submitted by allocating the two cold reductions rates,adjusting the process tension in DCR,optimize synthetically of the reduction rate,and also giving the strip wave shape in DCR S export.The technology was updated also considered the fact that the strip flatness in export,rolling stability,product mechanical characters,rolling efficiency.It was issued after the theories analysis and site experiment.After site experiences and theoretical studies,we consider the production engineering characters when rolling paper thin double cold reduction,and integrating the influences such as the flatness,rolling stability,the products mechanical function as well as the minimum rollable thickness,and rolling efficiency.Having optimize allocation for the reduction rate in cold rolling and double cold reduction,DCR s operation tension along with reduction rate,solving the rolling problem existed in paper thin chroming base plate,eventually achieved the chroming base plate under 0.15 mm thickness,The products have favorable flatness whose character has reached DR8.
