　　Bacterial and archaeal diversity in water and sediment of one low-salt,hyper-alkaline spring was investigated by clone librariesof16SrRNAgenes.Physical-chemical analysis showed that the pH of water and sediment were 10.the total salts were 8.6 g/L and 1278 g/L respectively.
