Reversed Phase High Performance Liquid Chrornatography(RP-HPLC) analytical method was developed for determination of apple polyphenols.By choosing a suitable mobile phase with gradient elution and changing sample size and the flow rate,a good separation effect was acheieved.Six acidic phenols and flavonoids were detected in 20 minutes.The detection limits were 0.008-0.088 μg,the recovery rates were all above 90%,and the coefficients of variation were 1.3%-2.4%,which showed that the method is accurate and rapid.Experiments showed that the polyphenols in sample were chlorogenic acid,catechin,epicatechin,rutin and phlorizin.
