Anaerobic digestion is a well-known and widely used process for renewable energy production from organic wastes.The continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) type is commonly used for anaerobic digestion process.In order to simulate the CSTR,the contents of the reactor are uniformly and continuously redistributed.However,laboratory-scale anaerobic digestion reactors were operated without continuous feeding and discharging systems and with the daily discharging and feeding pattern.
