　　Since undergoing antigenic refinement in 1998 to a modified form known as BCB2024 BTA, the use of BOTOX(R) (Allergan, Inc.Irvine) has undergone a billion dollar global burgeoning.Despite tremendous clinical utilization of the newer version of the drug, its potential to elicit an immunogenic response remains poorly characterized.Manufacturer data published at the introduction of BCB2024 BTA describe no in vivo antibody formation related to the drug.
