O-Glycosylation is an important post-translational modification found on many secreted andmembrane-bound glycoproteins[1].At least eight different O-glycans core structures have beendescribed so far,with core 1 and 2 structures being the most common in non-mucin glycoproteinsand core 1-4 being the most common in mucins [2].
