The joint probability distribution of wind speed and wind direction at bridge spot is vital to wind-induced vibration analysis of long span bridges.Sutong Bridge which is the longest cable-stayed bridge with a span of 1088m in China is taken as a research object.Four anemometers are installed in Structural Health Monitoring System (SHMS) of Sutong Bridge: upstream and downstream of main deck center,top of north and south tower respectively,as shown in Figure l.
