Dissemination of antibiotic resistance genes by horizontal gene transfer has led to this situation,thus complicating the clinical treatment of Salmonella infections.In this study,thirty-one strains of Salmonella isolates were collected from 8 general university-affiliated hospitals of Mohnarin of China in 2010.All strains were identified by API identification system and confirmed by slide agglutination using group- and type-specific Salmonella antisera.The susceptibility of 19 antimicrobial agents was determined by disk diffusion according to the guidelines of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI).
