Two multi-gas infrared optic sensors is designed based on separate and integrate components.In the separate sensor,gas was tested by a pyroelectric detector with single passage.The gas chamber equally distributes four detectors with the infrared illuminant in the center.There are three different filtering pieces and each detects a gas while one filtering piece makes up for them.As an important part of the infrared sensor,the performance of infrared illuminant decides the sensors.The thermal radiation illuminant has sufficient infrared radiation energy in 3-4.7pm place.In the design of integrated component,integrated multi-gas sensor is proposed which has a monolithic integrated illuminant and multi-dimensional integrated structure.Infrared light source located in the center region,corresponding to three goals in three gas thermopile detectors and wide through band reference detectors surrounding the infrared illuminant.By low vacuum wafer-level packaging,MEMS devices can achieve the goal of protecting,better thermal management and the integration of filtering pieces.
