Interventional therapy has been the first choice to treat with congenital pulmonary arterio-ve-nous fistula (PAVF).Intracranial air embolism oc-curs rarely,but it is potentially fatal complication.It usually occurred during or immediately after inter-ventional therapy.Herein,we report an experience on a 7-year-old boy with a delayed intracranial air embolism after interventional therapy of congenital pulmonary arterio-venous fistula.To our best knowl-edge,this was the first time this complication has been found the 8th dayafter treatment.
