With the exploitation of uranium resources,uranium mining process inevitably caused radioactive environment pollution.In this paper,the situation and reason of groundwater pollution caused by uranium mining were briefly described.For the heap leaching,uranium tailing impoundment leaked because of unreasonable design or too long use,then radionuclides and heavy metals in uranium tailing impoundment would seep to aquifer and contaminated the groundwater.For the in-situ leaching,due to the injection of the leaching agent,the geochemical environment of the aquifer changed and the ground water was polluted.Then,the migration of contaminants in groundwater was analyzed.The migration of radionuclides in groundwater and the pollution of groundwater were affected by many factors,such as the velocity of groundwater flow,soil media and so on.Finally,the treatment technologies and protection measures were proposed.
