Objective To evaluate imaging quality of dual-energy myocardial perfusion and coronary CTA protocol by DSCT in IHD.Methods 100 patients(20 with dual-energy myocardial perfusion and 80 with coronary CTA protocol) were evaluated on coronary artery territory by DSCT from February 2009 to July 2009in IHD.The heart rate of CT scanning was less than 70bpm in study. The raw data were transmitted to CT workstation to display for MIP, VR, and Circulation in software. The results were analyzed for image quality, artifacts, and radiation dose between two kinds of CT protocol. Results There were no significant differences(p>0.05) between dual-energy myocardial perfusion and coronary CTA in high-quality images. There were significantly higher with dual-energy myocardial perfusion than with coronary CTA (10% vs 6.25%; p < 0.05)in more motion artifact of the right coronary artery only one.The average radiation dose was significantly lower with dual-energy myocardial perfusion than with coronary CTA (46.23±18.51 vs 70.57±22.73; p =0.01).Conclusion Dual-energy myocardial perfusion can be provide high-quality images of coronary CTA and lower dose of radiation for more data (assessment of myocardial ischemia) except slightly motive artifact.
