A noncontact optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) which fabricates with microchip laser and all-fiber low coherence interferometer is presented.The noncontact PAM system have higher bandwidth than traditional ultrasound transducer-based photoacoustic microscopy.The scarting phantoms embedded with hairs and carbon fibers were used to testified the lateral resolution and imaging capability of the noncontact PAM.Furthermore,in vivo blood vessels of a mouse ear were clearly shown.The experimental results demonstrate that the noncontact PAM can image the tissues in vivo,which can be used as portable and remote photoacoustic microscopy for many biomedical applications.
