Objective:To treat malignant tumors of submandibular gland with 125I radioactive seeds brachytherapy and evaluate the short-term outcome,survival and complication.Materials and methods:44 patients of malignant tumors in submandibular gland,who was admitted in Peking University,School of Stomatology during the period between April 2002 and May 2012 entered into this study.33 patients were primary and 11 patients were recurrent.All patients were treated with 125I seeds implantation in soft tissues and interviewed to evaluate the short-term outcome,survival and complication.
