We reported the readily available the PEGylated Fe@Fe3O4 NPs as PTT for truly practical application.Unlike traditional NPs, the NPs possess triple functional properties in one entity-targeting, PTT, and imaging.They show good dispersability, biocompatibility, and high stability in biological media.They also exhibit a high magnetization value and comparable photothermal conversion efficiency to that of Au nanorods.
