海底管线勘测要求复杂、实施困难,现有的海底勘测技术尚不能满足需要。作者不久前在英国曾致力于一种新式海床勘测器的研究,这种RW型勘测器与传统的海底勘测方式迥然不同,可望满足海底管线勘测的需要。文章扼要介绍了这种勘测器的特点和工作原理。
Submarine pipeline survey requirements are complex, difficult to implement, the existing seabed survey technology can not meet the needs. The author recently worked on a new type of seabed surveyor in the UK. This RW-type surveyor is very different from the traditional methods of seafloor survey and is expected to meet the needs of submarine pipeline surveying. The article outlines the characteristics and working principle of such a surveyor.
