Combing with bull and bear market which China has just experienced,this paper exploits characteristics and mutual relationship of excess volatility of closed-end funds market price and over-reaction of investors sentiment in China.The main results which are got through empirical research as follows:(1) Chinas closed-end fund has excess volatility in bull and bear market,but the volatility during the bear market is greater than volatility in bull market.
