With the Chinas long-term planning and development strategy for energy and related support policies for sustainable energy equipment manufacturing industry put forward, a new domestic energy sources and energy equipment industry has grown rapidly.As an important base for sustainable energy and new energy equipment industry, the city of Harbin also confronts the problem on how to adapt to new developments and technology advancement.A survey is currently made to show status of sustainable energy and new energy equipments industry, which is demonstrated in this paper.Based on the data acquired, the basic profile and the developing potential are investigated.In addition, strategy analysis is also performed.
